Programs
Welcome Committee. Over fifty new homeowners and families move to Conimicut each year. The CVA Welcome Committee greets new residents and brings them an information packet about Conimicut, local businesses, and the Association. For more information please contact Elena Counts. elenarhea@cox.net
Business Outreach Committee: With the growth of our community, the Business Outreach Committee strives to bring in new businesses, engage and grow the business community. Any new business can join as a Business Member to receive benefits such as advertising, online presence, and more. Annual Events & Village Beautification. Each year, the Association hosts the Conimicut Spring Fling, Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Village Wide Yard Sale, Holiday Tree Lighting, and Co-hosts the Halloween Spooktacular. These events are designed to be fun and also to raise funds for summer flower baskets and holiday decorations.
City of Warwick Liaison. Warwick City Council President James Mcelroy represents Ward 4 which includes Conimicut. Councilman Mcelroy regularly attends CVA monthly meetings and provides effective problem-solving. CVA leadership also works with the Executive Office of Mayor Frank Picozzi and a variety of city agencies and departments.
State of Rhode Island Liaisons – Our State Representative are Camille Vella-Wilkinson (District 21) and Senator Mike McCaffrey (District 29) they interact with the Association at State level Government.
Community Police Liaison. Officer Mark Jandreau, Sgt. Jeff Viveiros and Capt. Joel Thomas of the Community Police Division of the Warwick Police Department regularly attend CVA monthly meetings to carry on a dialogue about community safety and related issues. Constructive dialogue also occurs between monthly meetings.

Environmental Stewardship. The Association is a proud member of Save the Bay and works with Save the Bay, the Buckeye Brook Coalition, and the Mill Cove Conservancy to bring about environmental enhancement of the village.
